I sold houses. Then I watched what happened after.
I am Steven Bell. I am a working real estate agent and a CTO, and I built KeptHaven from a desk in St. Augustine, Florida, because I kept wanting it for my own clients.
The number that started it comes from the National Association of REALTORS. 91 percent of buyers say they would use their agent again. 18 percent actually did. Everyone in this business knows that gap. Nobody had a fix that survived a busy Tuesday, because between closings there is no reason to call, and no reason to pick up.
A home generates reasons all the time. The water heater turns eleven. The homestead filing is due in March. The insurer wants proof the roof was permitted. When those facts live in one place, under the brokerage’s name, the agent has something worth saying and the homeowner has something worth keeping.
So that is what KeptHaven is: a private portal for every home a brokerage closes, kept for as long as the family owns it. Documents filed and searchable. County deadlines in plain English. The pros the agent already trusts, one tap away. The brokerage’s brand on all of it.
It started inside FFS Unlimited, my earlier company. It became its own company, KeptHaven LLC, in August 2026.
I am building it as both the agent and the engineer, so it gets tested on real closings before it gets tested on anyone else. The pilot is invite-only, and I am onboarding the first brokerages myself, one at a time, in person where I can. If something is wrong you will hear it from me, and I would rather hear it from you than find out later.
